We partnered with GyneCare Cancer and Research Foundation to carry out a prevalence study on the pre-invasive cervical cancer lesions on HIV positive in women in Nigeria.

The primary objective of this collaboration is to determine the prevalence of precancerous cervical lesions among HIV positive women in Nigeria. Another is to ascertain the association and prevalence of chlamydia infection among women living with HIV who have developed precancerous cervical lesions.

This multi-center study has study sites in all 6 geopolitical zones of Nigeria. Sites selections have been concluded and the research team has commenced the process of selecting study participants.
