ADRAP in collaboration with other implementing partners with funding from NACA have Implemented multidisease and HIV prevention outreaches in FCT, Sokoto , Kebbi, Plateau, Nasarawa, Benue, Kaduna, Zamfara, Bauchi and Gombe states.

These outreaches which were implemented with and on-behalf of NACA and its partners with funding from both the MDGs and SURE-P programs, tested over 40,000 Nigerians for HIV, provided clinical Tuberculosis screening for all the patients that were seen at the outreaches and linked all patients found positive for HIV and  suspected tuberculosis cases to treatment facilities.

The primary aim of the outreaches were to provide HIV prevention messages in the context of a  multi-disease approach.

Complete teams of medical doctors, pharmacists, lab scientists, nurses, HTC counselors where engaged to provide free medical care and HIV prevention services inclusive of HTC and condom distribution to individuals presenting themselves for the outreaches.

Other diseases including Hypertension, diabetes, malaria and varied dermatological and infectious conditions were diagnosed and treated during these outreaches.
